Angie 4 School Board 877

Hello and thank you for checking out my website. I am Angie Greig and I am for running Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose IDS 877. My daughter attended Hanover Elementary, Buffalo Community Middle School and now she attends Buffalo High school. My husband and I moved to Hanover in 2004 and then moved into Buffalo in 2018 for an easier commute for our daughter to school and for school activities.

In April of 2021 I started our local Moms for Liberty Wright County chapter and have since completed a data request, encouraged and empowered parents involvement in their children’s education. We have gotten involved in parent committees and gone to school board meetings. I have attempted to be involved in the Native American Parent Council and have thus far only gotten an invite to approve curriculum that I have never seen. Other parents are on committees that often are canceled and never rescheduled. It is the frustration with this type behavior from our schools administration that fuels my desire to be on the school board. I feel that I have not been properly represented over the years and to make changes you need to get involved.

I am running for school board to be a voice for the parents, to vote for what is best for the our children’s future. There is a time and place for learning and math, reading and science need to come first. Our test scores have been consistently declining in these three areas. Having smart, productive people is what is best for all of us.
